The much awaited Hoxton Barcelona opened its doors for the first time earlier this year, and although a little biased, we think this hotel is the brands best yet!
Set in the creative neighbourhood of Poblenou, the Hoxton Barcelona location promises to be a destination for locals and travelers alike. Consisting of 240 rooms, a rooftop pool and taqueria, a bright and airy lobby, a sunny terrace, and a multi-functional basement space.

Holmes Bespoke worked with the amazing design team at Ennismore for over a year to design and make tapestries and rugs across all the bedrooms, the lobby, the bar and all the public areas including the directional signage. Entrusted to deliver almost 600 bespoke rugs and wall-hangings for the super cool hotel, in a fun vibrant city.
Each room features a Holmes Bespoke tapestry and at least one handcrafted rug designed specially for the Hoxton Barcelona. Alongside floor-to-ceiling windows, terracotta floors, faded floral accents, and earthy tones each room has a distinctly Mediterranean feel.

Taking inspiration from the architectural work of Ricardo Bofil, textural details include raised cut pile, soft loops and criss crossed hand stitching in block shapes and an abstract city scape.
Designed for the Hoxton Barcelona bedrooms, the tactile flatweave rugs are handwoven in 100% wool with a raised stripe detail and a contrasting border. Lightweight and durable, the pretty rug adds warmth and texture to the each of the guestrooms.
Guests and locals are invited to dine in the hotel's distinct communal spaces. With the Rooftop hosting a Mexican-inspired menu at Tope bar and a Detroit-style pizza parlour on the ground floor, visitors to the hotel are spoilt for choice! The hotel promises to have refreshing frozen margaritas available, wines on tap from local Spanish vineyards, and beers from small local breweries.

The Racheal Rug - Hand woven from 100% wool with a raised cut pile detail, the Racheal rug add vibrance and texture to the private event space.
The Poppy Rug - Handwoven from elevated loops of natural jute, forming a rhythmic, textured surface. The natural jute finish has a slight sheen, adding a touch of elegance.
The Sienna Rug - Expertly handcrafted using natural jute in a herringbone pattern, our best selling Sienna rug with calming neutral hues can be hand edged with any contrasting colour.
