Goodbye 2020!
2020 has certainly been the year for a new found importance on the concept of home and how we live in our space. Home means something different to all of us, and we have all needed to create a sanctuary for ourselves in such an uncertain world. With the real lows there has been many times of reflection and we have found a great amount of escapism in the world of interior design, something we have seen reflected in our clients.
We want to thank you all for your ongoing support during this time and it has been so heart-warming to work with so many old and new clients to create beautiful stand out pieces together with many repeat orders despite the many lockdowns.
Whilst we cherish the opportunity to meet in person and to get to know our clients, their space, and their families on a more personal level, it has been amazing to see how we have been able to adapt and continue our client experience through the wonders of technology.
Using the best courier services to send samples, poms and schemes all over the country to offices and homes, to Zoom calls to discuss designs and meet new clients, it has been a really interesting new way of working. We believe we have been able to conduct the same level of professionalism and quality of service despite the circumstances.
We are of course disappointed that we were not able to meet with many of you at Decorex 2020 where we were due to have our debut stand, however we are booked and excited for 2021.
2020 has also been an exciting year for us for international projects, with clients in Canada, Kuwait, Miami, France, Jersey & lots in the UK of course. With more time in the home, it has been really encouraging to have seen an increase in private individuals getting in touch wanting to shake up their space. Our homes are no longer just a place where we live, it has become our office, the gym… a place we need to work but also relax and we have seen our clients reflecting these changes. We have designed all kinds of pieces this year including bespoke fitted carpets, stair runners and the newest addition - wall hangings!
