At Holmes Bespoke there is nothing more exciting than when we get the opportunity to get creative with the designers that really inspire us and we are delighted to showcase our latest collaborative collection with Howark Design.

Together we have designed The Line Up Collection, a collection of contemporary, hand crafted and customisable flat weave rugs.

When developing this collection, we wanted to ensure that the result was a versatile range suitable for any space within the home; from kitchens and reception rooms to bedrooms and hallways.

We seriously love a flat weave rug; they are lightweight, so if like us, you enjoy moving your rooms around and experimenting with placement, these rugs are easy to manipulate with no heavy lifting required, they are also durable and easy to clean.

The collection consists of four designs available in two distinct colour ways and three standard sizes, however as with all our designs, these are handmade to order so completely customisable which ensures you get the perfect design for your space.

With our collective experience, this collaboration seemed like a natural next step for us, and we are proud to have designed the Line Up Collection to complement a wide range of interior styles.
— James Arkoulis, Creative Director at Howark Design.

When working on a collaboration it is always important to ensure that the distinct style of the designer is incorporated into the collection. Howark Design is known for its characterful and timeless style with unmistakable originality and a modern sensibility and we really feel these qualities shine through in these flatweave designs.

The Line Up Collection is inspired by the bold colours and simplified forms of the Bloomsbury Group’s Omega Workshop products.

In July 1913 artist and writer Roger Fry opened Omega Workshops Ltd. at 33 Fitzroy Square in Bloomsbury, central London. The workshops sold furniture, fabrics and household accessories designed and made by artists. The premises in Fitzroy Square included studios where products were designed and made, and public showrooms where customers could browse and buy Omega's designs.

We loved how the Omega Workshop strived to blur the lines between art and decoration and set out to create beautiful and practical pieces with inherent value. This idea seemed so relevant today and was the starting point for the collection.
— Saskia Howard, Creative director at Howark Design.

Available in a choice of wool or recycled PET yarn - which is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Both materials are hardwearing and easy to clean, offering a stylish yet practical finish designed for modern family living. The PET yarn option is water resistant and quick drying making it suitable for occasional outdoor use, it is also strong, lightweight, and flexible, plus UV, stain, wrinkle and moth resistant.

Sustainability is extremely important to us and we pride ourselves on ensuring that we create beautiful products that not only look good but do not have a lasting impact on the environment.

We really hope that you love the collection as much as we do!
