The Varkala Rug | Magenta Sunset

Varkala, named after one of India’s most beautiful beaches is part of our Shore Collection. This subtle hand painted hexagon design is the perfect all rounder; contemporary yet classic. The Shore Collection comprises five unique rugs handknotted using recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) yarn. Available in three distinct colour ways; Magenta Sunset, Ocean Blue and Golden Sands.

Environmentally conscious PET yarn (polyethylene terephthalate) is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. These bottles are predominantly washed up along the Indian shoreline. Each rug is named after one of India’s most beautiful beaches to honour this connection.

Luxurious to touch yet strong and durable, PET yarn is easy to clean, and is also water, UV, stain and moth resistant. This means that The Shore Collection is suitable for occasional outdoor use.

The Shore Collection is handknotted to order in 12-14 weeks.
