Thames Collection

Thames is a handcrafted collection of rugs, fitted carpets and tapestries by Holmes Bespoke, inspired by London’s iconic river and the ever-changing view from the studio’s West London showroom.

Conceived during the restoration of the property, the collection captures the movement, light, colours and organic contours of the riverscape. Handcrafted from the finest natural fibres, ten designs combine sophisticated colour gradations, intricate carving and rich texture to create pieces with exceptional depth and character.

Highlights include Tide, a bamboo silk design threaded with gold lurex to capture sunlight shimmering across the water; Flow, a triptych of handwoven wool and bamboo silk tapestries translating the river’s gentle movement into a sculptural wall installation; and Riverstone, whose hand-carved surface draws inspiration from the organic beauty and texture of black coral.

Rooted in Holmes Bespoke’s commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and bespoke design, each Thames creation is handcrafted to order and can be commissioned as a rug, fitted carpet or tapestry, capturing the changing beauty of the river in a truly individual piece.
