Meet Me in Como is a handcrafted rug collection by Holmes Bespoke founder Laylah Holmes, inspired by the romance, faded grandeur and natural beauty of Lake Como.

Drawing on historic villas, winding cobbled streets, wrought iron details and shimmering lake reflections, the collection balances delicate traditional detailing with an understated, contemporary aesthetic. Handcrafted from New Zealand wool and bamboo silk using centuries-old techniques, subtle variations in texture, tone and weave celebrate the artisanal character of each piece. A palette of faded blues, olive greens, warm neutrals and dusty pinks evokes the patina and old-world elegance of Lake Como’s historic villas.

At the heart of the collection is Amore, a deeply personal design featuring words handwritten by Laylah and inspired by memories of her wedding at Lake Como. The rug can be customised with a client’s own words or handwriting, transforming personal memories and stories into a truly individual piece.
